Equilibrium, Knitting PDF (NL - ENG)

**Errata**
Chart 1A, Row 3, on the left.
the O (then the red vertical line of the repeat) and the / on the other side of the red vertical line, need to be erased.
On Page 8: in the centre of the chart, row 105, there is a / next to a O/|\O. The extra / on the right, needs to go. It should not be there.
There were also some S symbols missing on the left side of the same page, rows 70 - 80.

Equilibrium is made of 5 parts.
First the border is knit, then half of the centre. The second border is knit and the second half of the centre.
Finally, the edge is knit all around.

Grafting in the centre is necessary, when you want the look of the shawl in the pictures.
You can, if you want, make the centre directional (all over). You still need to graft the second border to the centre.
I hope I made it easier for you to do it in the centre, because there is NO pattern in the graft. Just 2 rows of knit stitches on either side that need to be sewn together.
Also, the edge needs to be sewn together, but that’s a bit smaller, fortunately.

Anyway.
The shawl weighs 27gr, measures 72 x 25 inch / 184 x 64cm.
It’s hardly there.
The shawl can also be knit in a variety of other (fine) yarns.
Like the Supreme 1ply, the cashsilk or fine merino.
The needle size can be the same for those, but the yardage may go up accordingly.

Chart 1 needs to be glued together to make one. Or choose to work from the digital version and continue with 1B after 1A.
The chart is separated in rows, not in stitches. (up, not sideways).

No written rows, 1 page of instruction, 2 support pages regarding knitting Shetland Lace, 1 extra page with support for the edge and finally 1 page for wrap & turn for the edge corners.

Yarn: Gossamer Cashmere (1125m / 25gr) = ~1220m - 1250m or 1345y - 1367y Just a smidge more than 1 ball.
Needles: 2mm or US0
Size: 72 x 25 inch / 184 x 64cm.
Weight: 27gr (= less than 1 ounce)
