It is a pretty intricate pattern, with a lot of switching back and forth for knit and purl stitches + lace and nupps! But it’s so worth it!
The flow of the pattern, the fine zigzag and the adorning nupps. Like sweet peas in the garden, growing higher and higher.
You do need to practise a nupp to make sure you are familiar with the technique. There are some 624 nupps in this shawl.
Similar yarn with the same weight and fullness is the best choice. The nupps in this design are a 9 loop nupp.
This design can easily be altered with more length, a little work also when made more narrow or wider.
